Be warned that you can only perform a 'free transfer' of Avios as a GCH to members on your F&F list.
I changed mine 2 weeks ago to add someone (and assumed the 6 month limit didn't apply to me, as I don't have a HHA) and lo and behold - the list is locked for 6 months.
It really should be made more clear what the list does. The description doesn't mention that free Avios transfers are limited to these people, and using it to 'save their personal details' is an incredibly bad idea:
With a Family and Friends list you can nominate who you'd like to receive your partner cards. You can also make cash and reward flight bookings for these people more quickly because we’ll save their personal details, which will then be filled in for you.
- Nominate people for your Executive Club partner cards from your Family and Friends list.
- Save their personal details for speedier cash and reward flight bookings.
