Only the Member can make changes to their own details."
How interesting - mine looks like the attached

The only one I can't edit is where I've filled in their Exec club number. That seems to be the thing to avoid to maintain flexibility (I get the same message as you on the "i" button). I just book for the other friends/family in their name without the BAEC number - they can always add their BAEC number to the tickets afterwards for convenience, but it's not like they'll be earning any tier points/avios anyway!
