Very bizarre experience today at the Schengen lounge. Walked in around 6pm, lounge was almost deserted, but in the back side around the food spread, every table was cluterred with used cutlery, plates etc. There were two staff members, one of them with a wet towel in hand, chatting. I looked around, picked one table, removed the dirty dishes, and when I went to pick up some food, I asked the staff member with the wet towel in hand to clean my table, since it was dirty and sticky.

Her reaction: "it's not my job to clean tables"
ok986: "Excuse me?"
Staff member: "it's not my job to clean tables"
ok986:"sorry then, I assumed since you have a wet cloth in your hand"
She threw that cloth into a bucket, gave me the nastiest look, went to clean the table, and then found me at the bar and announced me that "[my] table has been cleaned now for [me]"
