I’m a longtime member, and I know AAdvantage miles can be used to purchase membership, but I don’t think they can be used to purchase one day passes.
The pass allows you access on a day you’re flying AA and up to three children up to age 18 at any and all airports you may be traveling through that day that has Admirals Clubs. And up to $50 can be used as credit toward an annual membership.

Where you can go: Domestic and international Admirals Club locations (based on lounge capacity) (practically, that usually means Clubs where refurbishment is going on).

Boarding passes for same-day travel on American or partner airlines1

Guest access
Up to 3 children under 18 (if accompanied by adult day-pass holder)
