Time to provide my GE experience to community:
  1. Applied for GE: August 11th, 2017 (Without knowing that verification needs to be happen in India)
  2. Got email to do verification in India on : August 12th, 2017
  3. Visited Passport Seva Kendra: December 28th, 2017 (After couple of visits to Passport Seva Kendra, as I did not have any recent Indian address proof, so had to update my Aadhar card address. Which they excepted finally)
  4. Police verification: December 30th, 2017
  5. Approval Email Received from DHS: September 17th, 2018 (After more than 8 months of Police verification)
  6. Appointment scheduled for: October 29th, 2018
  7. Application Approved: October 29th, 2018 - around 9.00 pm EST (Online status)
