Unfortunate but better than flying in a broken seat - sometimes you just get unlucky.

As above Qantas has no internet on any of its international flights (and only on about half its 737 domestic and a smaller number of 330a) (and won't have internet internationally for a few years until a new satellite is launched)

As Qantas is a member of oneworld you can credit flights to BA Avios.
