Next day, SYD-DFW in business class; 2 out of 4 bathrooms broken and internet was unavailable for the entire flight.
Is there any form of compensation I can get?
Also, is it possible to earn Avios on BA (Gold status) for these flights and compensation?
What was your full route/final destination?
MEL-LAX replaced by MEL-SYD-DFW is a little unusual.
If QF paid for the SYD hotel, doubt you will get much in the way of compensation. Unfortunately Australia (& USA) does not have EC261/2004 type legislation.
If this was a cash paid flight you can earn BA avois as QF is a BA partner (Oneworld)
Look in the BA web site to retro claim.
