Usually I do not bring any liquids onboard while traveling, but just now I found an interesting deal for some Chilean liquids (wine and pisco) at the SCL duty free shop. Any experience if such products will pass the security during my transfer at LHR T3 on my way to HEL? Naturally they would be in sealed bag etc...
I believe official EU guidelines are that any ex-EU purchases eg SCL are not transferrable at EU airports to connecting flights (security concerns?), even if in the sealed duty free bag from eg SIN, SCL etc with receipt in bag less than 24hours old

That said I have sucessfully had duty free with my transfers at LHR from SIN airport a few times into LHR on SQ for BMI/KLM/BA flights to AMS, but i only risked a small financial purchase each time.

In fact I don't ever recall any security check at purchasing airport (if gate xrays), or xfer airport connections xrays, physically looking at my sealed bag ever , to check that i)bag sealed ii)receipt in bag and < 24hours old
