Actually, in the Fairmont Royal Palm, basically my home Fairmont hotel, where I often stay with friends the rate for a room used by one person is a bit lower than the rate for the same room used by two person. Not double, but for a week including breakfast I (alone) pay 4000.-, while the same room with two people costs 5500.-.
At least this is the case for my upcoming stay. In the last stay it was a little bit closer together: 2500.- for one against 3000.- for two. I’ve already mentioned the huge price i crease above :P
