The non-nexus factor is confusing, and they have been rearranging upstairs pretty consistently for 2+ years. I have pretty horrible handwriting, and make a point of trying to make my declaration card as illegible as possible, just to see how far I can push things. Never been stopped.

But the paperwork and a person and the bus is still quite superior, IMO, then going landside and re-clearing security.
