That is precisely what I was thinking, jonu--what's to catch? Unless they start taking fingerprints and/or photos on the outbound and compare them on the return, what could they prove?
Same thing with identical twins. How could they tell? I have friends who are identical twins. One is a frequent traveler and an elite. The other is only an occasional traveler. The occasional traveler always flies under the frequent traveler's name, using the elite status. It is really a win/win for them. The frequent traveler gets the miles and EQMs and the infrequent traveler gets top status perks. It is not up to me to judge them.
FWIW, the name on my passport and driver's license never match the name on my airplane tickets and I am only asked about it once out of every hundred flights, even internationally. Go figure.
