change fees vary by fare which is market and fare class mostly. There are plenty with $0 and some with $500 and higher. Not sure why you are setting an expectation at $300, it really depends on a lot of factors. It is always spelled out very clearly in the fare rules and $120 is not all uncommon for fares to Asia.
