In addition to Yotel, there's an airside transit hotel and the Mercure. If you go landside, there's a IMO good Sheraton (good lounge, especially by USA standards) and a Hilton (never tried it) connected indoors to the AMS terminal. Finally, there's a new trendy hotel (I forget the name/brand, but IIRC it's a small new European chain with a cool lobby/lounge and IKEA type furnishings, oriented toward younger travelers) on the airport property that requires a walk outside of about two blocks, with about a half block not being under a roof. IIRC they also run a shuttle, but it's an easy walk unless one has an enormous amount of luggage without wheels. Beyond this, there are airport hotels, mostly with free shuttle service, but some are quite far from the airport, with prices reflecting distance as well as amenities.
