The problem for me: They don't update them enough, many new movies aren't to my taste (not DL's fault), and the library is limited (better than some foreign carriers but a far cry from EK at the top end of the IFE library size).
The updating is the biggest problem though -- if you fly with any regularity (especially on TPAC / TATL / TCON flights) it's easy to get bored with the selection quite after one trip let alone two in the same month.
This describes my take on this topic.
When paying for D1, I would be frustrated to pull out my iPad to watch movied saved for offline viewing.
DL has changed the listing mechanisms which makes it harder for me to find anything of interest. Going from A to Z can be cumbersome if the screen is not responsive.
I only had one 359 this year and very few 330s so the 777 and 763 system are a distraction.
