Well, I think you've hit the nail on the head. I didn't want to make too much of a fuss, but I am actually in a new BAEC category called
Methane Plus, and - upon reading my welcome packet more carefully - I do see that a fart in the face (which BA - and I guess this is corporate speak aimed at those in my status - calls "a personalized welcome gift") is mentioned.
