Well, at least it's solved. Not quite the same name situation, but my wife's DL records have her maiden name but her ID and credit card show both maiden and married names. Upon calling Delta, they said 'just wait until you have a period of 2-3 months when she's not traveling and we can change it then.' That was twenty years ago, so I think as long as you're not on a no-fly list, there's leeway.
