Keep in mind that for some domestic award travel on AA, Iberia Plus will charge fewer Avios (sometimes less than half) than what BA would charge. Once an Iberia Plus account has been open for 90 days and funded with even one Avios, you can transfer BA Avios to Iberia Plus.
