for check in, there is no official guest policy and it it up to the check in staff, what they accept. In practice if you fly F or J, you can check in at your premium counter together with 1-2 fellow passengers without an issue.
I even apply this if I have guests visiting me in Bangkok flying Y. If i bring them to the Airport, I go to Platinum check in if they fly TG and to J check in, if they fly Lufthansa Group and I show my Platinum, resp. SEN Card and ask whether my guests could check in at the premium counter.
As for your second question, if you pretend to stay in transit, escort will bring you to the FCL where you can have your meal and later tell them that you changed your mind and let them bring you to the normal arrival Immigration (fast track)
