those aren’t made up numbers. I was showing how the MQM/MQD gets thrown out of whack simply based on where you are flying to and that depending on that it is easier and less costly for some to achieve DM status than the others.
The point, though (and my question you didn't actually answer) is that there is no "correct" MQM/MQD ratio, therefore it makes no sense to provide these anecdotal "examples". It doesn't matter.
There's no reason to think that people "should" be earning MQM and MQD at similar rates, or that they "should" cross the MQM and MQD thresholds at roughly the same time.
