I will start by saying I know this is small potatoes and is hardly worth worrying about. But that is what this site is about so here goes.

My wife and I have booked an AA flight next year CMH-BGI. I currently have two FF accounts where I could credit the flight miles, AA and BA. It appears it would earn 2530 AA miles or 1302 BA avios. I have no status anywhere. My Ba account has a paltry 500 miles and my AA account has an even more paltry 77 miles (which are set to expire in February, before my trip). My wife has neither FF account, but obviously could start one, and it appears I can pool household points on BA. I fly AA once every year or two and have never flow BA in my life. I have no way of earning AA miles other than flying (except Marriott transfers, but I don't have many MR rewards points anyway). I do have a CSP that I can transfer points from, and BA is one of the transfer partners (which is the whole reason I have a BA account in the first place). So I ask wise sages of FT, where is the best place to earn these miles? Thanks.
