Yeah, "relatively" reliable is probably the better descriptor! We are taking the EWR-ABJ flight on ET that lands at 2:40pm. I could buy a separate ticket on HF for ABJ-LBV at 7:30pm and try and get outta there same day (rather than next day). I had figured that if we have to get a Cote d'Ivoire visa, we might as well check out Abidjan for a day--but ultimately I care about about getting to Gabon.
I saw someone transiting ABJ without a visa, but given I'll probably have a not checked through checked bag...I wouldn't attempt that.
