Please be very very careful and ensure repeatedly that your Delta SkyMiles number is in your PNR, and not a Flying Blue number (if you have one). Flying Blue ended its policy of removing incorrectly accredited miles (into Flying Blue) so that they are available for Delta to accredit to SkyMiles. I believe the change was made back in April.

Back in May, my Flying Blue number was attached instead of Delta on one segment of an international adventure, and despite repeated requests, Flying Blue firmly rejected any appeal to de-credit the miles so that Delta could pick them up; I lost about 6,300 miles. I closed my Flying Blue account in order to prevent that from happening again.
