Found something disturbing in mileage earning on AS. Backstory, had a round trip trip where ha bought full Y ticket. Saw that only earned 100% miles plus the Gold bonus, no class of service bonus. Sent a message to witter to get corrected. After a few back and forth messages with the twitter agent final was that if ticket bought through a corporate portal where there is a negotiated discount won't get the class of service bonus anymore as it is considered a discounted ticket. is is supposedly new policy as of September 10th 2018. this is significant if true. I buy my tickets through my corporate portal which is Concur via Balboa. Alaska is one of our preferred carriers as we have a negotiated discount. So, supposedly can no longer get the extra bonus for class of service for a full Y fare as they now incorporate the discount into the fare. Anybody else seeing this? Or was I fed a line via the Twitter portal? As I only got the Gold 1--% bonus and no class of service bonus for a Y fare?
