Few weeks ago I was told that they are in the midst of migration Four Point brands into Marriott Reservation System. I do not know if FP is done and now Sheraton or FP and Sheraton comes under 1.
Well the one with fewer digits is the one the hotel couldn't see!
At my request got an email from the hotel for the cancel they couldn't see (after 2 requests at the front desk) and the cancel number is totally different from the one I could get from the app and has a letter and a total of 10 digits and letters (I've never seen a cancel with letters as part of it)
AFAICT there are multiple systems operating which don't talk to each other and generate random (?ghost) reservations and ?cancellations.
How can more people not be complaining about this?
