Nice. If more Fairmonts did this, I would stay more often and I hope it will happen with more regularity. Especially with suite upgrade certificates about to expire, elite perks become slim pickings.
With lounge access being free at Hilton, Marriott, Starwood, and Hyatt for guests with elite status, it is more difficult to pick Fairmont and have to pay for the lounge when you can get it for free elsewhere. In many cities I like the Fairmonts but when evaluating the value proposition things can be more difficult.
