Is there any way when booking an AC codeshare via a partner that you can determine what actual fare bracket you are going into? If the partner says it books into "V" for example, can I confirm if that's Standard, Low/High Flex or Comfort or do I have to book the flight and phone AC with their reference to identify what I'm actually in and directly query the cost to upfare to Comfort/P or whatever I want? Cancelling the entire ticket if it doesn't match my needs?
If you book with a partner, it is very difficult to map what their fare would translate into AC fare class/branded fare. I would rely on personal experience and not even what a ticket agent would tell you.
If you book with a partner, AC may not touch the ticket so no upfare specially if any part of the ticket is non-AC metal.
