Has anyone confirmed if it's possible to use OS Smart Upgrade on a fare class X ticket issued by UA? When I did my seat selections with the OS agent (thank you Star Alliance gold), she told me that I was eligible to bid 47 hours before departure during the on-line checkin. Is this the case?
