Beware of hidden charges for airport pick-ups. We recently used an Autoslash recommendation to rent a Budget car at Gatwick airport. On arrival we were charged $135 extra for previously undisclosed fees...nor was there any alert that there might be such fees. Complaining to Priceline or Budget does no good, as they cite well-hidden fine print from Budget that supposedly justifies their practice of adding airport charges.

So it's no more Priceline or Budget for me, unless I get a firm price that states there will be no other charges. I have yet to bring this up with Autoslash, who I used to dearly love.
