Got recognised by the AA team today, and I am a simple Gold member. The lady on board said "great to have you on board sweetie and so cool that you are one of our Executive Platinum members" - I found the informal nature of the welcome rather disarming and quite enjoyable. I was offered pre-boarding but it didn't make any difference to be honest...
