I've seen it on flight last week, AA 16 SFO - JFK. I was planning on flying red eye flight the night before but it was completely sold out in F / J and I picked up flight next morning. I bought it on short notice and was #3 on upgrade list and 2 pax before me got the upgrades and I had to sit in MCE.
