Every year I purchased for my employees gift cards for Thanksgiving with my American Express card the beauty is my employees are happy with the gift card and I got points recently I got a letter stating that American Express gift cards purchased with an American Express card will no longer be Rewarded points , let me be clear the card I am holding is over 20 years old and have been doing this annually for at least 7-8 years so there is no “manufactured spending for first year bonus game” that I can assume Amex is worried about
any ideas which gift cards I can give my employees for Thanksgiving and pay with Amex and earn points
PS looking for a wide range gift card not Limited to a Certain brand etc.
Interesting as a few years ago it was well known that they didnt give points for gift cards purchases (maybe they changed the rules and now are changing again?).
you can either use a non-amex card to buy the gift cards or go to another website such as giftcardmall to buy visa gift cards (you may be able to get additional cashback via topcashback and similar websites).
