When y'all say "6. Cleared at booking", does that mean that during the ticket purchasing process on United.com (via Advanced Search) that you saw a green arrow icon that you knew 100% there were GPU upgradeable/usable seats? I think they mean the former, as in "green arrow icon".
I write "they" as that hasn't happened to me in a long, long time. But luckily they seems to clear days/weeks after booking on the routes I need/want.
