Just an FYI so you don't get your hopes up, AA doesn't have the 'theoretical seating' where they block economy seats next to OWE. And these days (not that I'm a road warrior!) it seems like MCE goes out full, either status folks who wouldn't mind being in a middle for the legroom for a few hours, or by the gate agents assigning seats to basic economy passengers.
