Firstly, thank you for taking time out to read this -- I do appreciate it.

Would anyone be advise me on "re-holding" an AA partner award? Basically, I have an AA partner award (BA) on hold until Wed 24th Oct, but I'd ideally like to push my hold out by a further five days from this Wednesday. If I were to release my currently-held award on Wednesday, my now-released award does then go back into the normal award inventory, doesn't it, so that the award becomes "holdable" or bookable again? (I appreciate that I run the risk of other AA members or other OW members being able to jump in and snatch my freshly-released award.)

I just wanted to somehow confirm -- via other FTers' better knowledge/experience -- that this is correct so that, if I am speedy enough once I release my currently-held award, I have a decent chance of seeing this award being suddenly available again on AA.com and then, if I am swift enough, being able to re-hold it.

Any advice at all on this would be gratefully received.
