I think there are a couple of sweet spots on the Meliá Rewards program, but the problem is spotting where they are. I was happy with my redemption, because I was able to save about 180 Euros and spend that on something else. And the quality of the hotel was way better than what you find in your average IHG or lower price point Hilton property.
It was supposed to mean non-cancellable. That is you have to forfeit you points when you have to adjust or cancel the award reservation.
