You need to first find out if, when and how (the Group Posting Tool, hopefully) the hotel submitted your event. It only makes sense to contact Marriott Rewards once you know when and how the hotel submitted it, because you'll need to explain that to Marriott Rewards, and because if the hotel didn't submit, it's a problem at their end..
If it has your only event this year, then you should get both points and nights if it was submitted correctly. However, if it was not your first event this year, unfortunately they are denying nights for those people if the nights didn't
post before Aug 18.
