Has anyone with insider knowledge, got any idea when Air NZ is going to schedule their direct flights to Japan for the RWC.?. Since the first game is NZ v SA on 21 September 2019, my thoughts were that they should be appearing soon as the 350 day down time is gone. Searching online, there are no direct flights listed after September 7. On September 28/29 there are direct flights returning but nothing listed for the AKL-NRT/HND leg. These two are the only two that appear ! I have heard there are problems with the scheduling, with the ongoing 787 problems, but imagine it will be 777 that will be on this route at this time.
