I wonder how long you can use your new AmEx card. One of my relative received the dreadful letter that Lloyds is cancelling the AmEx version of Avios card and transition to a pure MasterCard product due to the end of AmEx franchise agreement. I have not received such letter yet but I thought it is common knowledge on this forum that the Lloyds Avios AmEx is being phased out any time soon.
