I recently stayed at Hyatt Regency La Jolla and was told the destination fee could not be waived. I just called Customer Service and after being on hold for quite awhile the agent came back and apologized and said a Globalist should NOT be charged the destination fee. She called the hotel and a credit was issued to my credit card.
