Alexandria Bay, NY (as close to the I-81 as possible), almost equidistant to Toronto and Montreal with all the Icelandic airlines competing, I doubt it could be beaten to Europe price-wise. And there's WestJet and Air Transat too. It's another question whether driving 2.5-3 hours to the airport is acceptable.
