Post-travel? While I feel your pain, I fear you are SOL.
The bean counters at AC decided last year to make this change with both RBC Rewards and CIBC Rewards. Apparently there is a Tour Code or some other indicator that does not accumulate Aeroplan miles. AC apparently told the agencies that the bean counters view it as double-dipping, which as us on FT know is not truthful at all.
Due to the issues with both RBC and CIBC Rewards and schedule changes, I book direct with the airlines and get a statement credit from the grid. Dealing with RBC and CIBC Rewards with changes is a major pain.
