I doubt very much that Flight Centre paid for those particular flights (or certainly not at commercial rates). That would be unusual.

As one of BA’s largest producers, Flight Centre would most likely have received the tickets as part of some previously-agreed joint promotional & marketing activity. Such arrangements are common to many high-volume air retailers and airlines, and/or other travel providers including hotels etc.
