Choice to UA in 2018
Last year I did this and it made a lot of sense.
Bought points at a 30% off discount, transferred to UA and got a 30% bonus.
Now it seems nowhere near as good, but I am having a mental block as to why. The offer I got via an email was 20% more points. UA bonus of 30% is like last year.
Did the ration change? Now it is 5 points to 1 mile.
50,400 points would cost me about $462, but only get me 13,000 miles (10,080 plus 30% bonus, so 13,104 I believe)
