Do you have TSA-pre? If not, I would consider arriving at the earlier time mentioned by [MENTION=131338]MatthewLAX[/MENTION], or even earlier. Even with TSA-pre, I had an issue at the International Terminal a few weeks ago and the line was longer than I have ever seen it and wasn't moving. Ultimately I walked over to T-3 and went through security there and walked back over on the air-side connector.
