They bought the ticket, so reimbursement isn't an issue, but mucking about with the ticket they bought, in a non-standard manner is just not the impression I want to send to them right now . I get plenty of benefits from my status over the course of the year, I can live without it for one trip. I'll just pretend to myself that they sent me on southwest or something and get on with life.
