eigenvector - thank you so much for the above and also for educating me on Schengen (I feel very stupid all of a sudden! )

The main reason I was asking (as a British passport holder) is that I had heard that the Swiss business lounge in the E gates area was very good, but also that the recently refurbished business lounge in the A gates area was also very good. As such, and with much time to kill on my day of travel, I had thought about "lounge-hopping" between the two lounges (E and A), but I just didn't know whether I would encounter any problems doing so with immigration/security/etc.?

I'll admit that I am only basing my opinion of these two lounges on several reviews of each that I have read, so I don't know whether (a) I am correct about these two lounges and their respective qualities. and whether (b) you / anyone else has tried to do the same (move between both lounges) or else can recommend any of these two lounges from personal experience? Sadly, to date, having been to ZRH in excess of 30 times, my experience of lounges there has been underwhelming (largely as I have only ever had access to Aspire lounges -- this will be my first Swiss flight from ZRH, you see).
