Will new account for lost card count against 5/24
I left my Chase UR card at Wendy's drive thru. I just realized it and called the store. They state it is their policy to cut up all credit cards the night they are left there. They maintain a log of names and confirmed they cut up mine. Knowing the UR card is steel and really can't be cut up, I asked how the actually destroyed it (person didn't know).
I'm contemplating calling Chase for a lost credit card and having them replace - but I concerned this new account my be considered with their 5/24 rule.
Anyone with experience?
