Haven't seen it mentioned upthread but looks like the Holiday Inn Richmond Airport is reflagging as the DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond Airport targeted at January, 2019.

Was just booking one of my semiannual stays at the HGI Richmond Airport and noticed the new DT as an offering -- for a moment I thought the dump [as of last time I stayed there when it still had the DT flag] of the Richmond Airport Hotel (nee DoubleTree Richmond Airport nee Hilton Richmond Airport) was returning to the fold, but then checked the address.

On one hand, it's not terribly surprising given that it, the HGI RIC, HIS RIC, and HWS RIC are all owned/managed by the same company -- on the other I wonder what is to become of the Holiday Inn Express RIC which is right next door and will become the lone non-Hilton flag in the complex.
