That's not correct - your confirmation was showing 777-200/200ER which means 777-200 or 777-200ER!!! They left their door open to use either of those... And importantly, 777-200 has 2-2-2 configuration! So I don't know what you argue about - even if they did not swap 777 to A330, you could still end in 2-2-2 config
