So following up on a ticket for my event on August 13. I got points and no nights. Spoke with the GM at the hotel who says he can’t repost the event with elite nights and Marriott can’t award any elite nights so he apologized for me being caught in the middle of the merger. I called MR back and supposedly a specialist will review my ticket for no elite nights...we will see.
well spoke with the GM at the hotel. He called MR and basically stated the terms of the program changed and there is nothing the hotel can do to award the elite nights. That is on the MR side. He did apologize and offer some bonus points, but said he was out of options from a property level. They did open a high priority ticket with MR but nothing back on that so far. Frustrated!
